“View from Goethe’s house in Rome (after Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein)” is a series of photographs taken at the museum Casa di Goethe in Rome. The German writer lived in the house between 1786 – 1788  and was immortalized at his window by the German painter Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein. Hoflund’s work conists of a series of ”point of view” (POV) snapshots taken from the window, depicting the valley and neighboring buildings of today.
