»Revisiting Winkie’s on Sunset Blvd«, »- Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin« and – »Grand Hotel des Bains« is the return and notion of a familiar place. The three videoloops consists of different movielocations – from David Lynch’s »Mulholland Drive«, Wim Wenders »Wings of Desire« and Luchino Visconti’s »Death in Venice« – combined with the cinema-subtitles for their specific scenes. This presentation of a fictive and at the same time real place brings attention to the idea of pop-culture tourism (i.e. traveling to locations featured in film etc).
