Inside the Bell Jar, 2012
The work entitled »Inside the Bell Jar« consists of a selection of library records, taken from the public library, in the small town where Hoflund grew up. These stolen objects, displayed as souvenirs, recall the individual borrowers from a selection of typical teen angst-literature as the records are stamped with different dates for every single loan of each book. This collection of enclosed delicate objects becomes a reflection and monument, for the literary works and the different readers connected through these worlds of words.
